JT First Shot Event

JT First Shot Paintball Challenge is a NEW paintball league designed to introduce players to competitive paintball.

First Event Overview


Intended for new players with no previous paintball experience

When:

  • Saturday, July 18th 2015
  • 8am-6pm

Where:

  • The Paintball Park at Camp Pendleton
  • The Paintball Park
  • 1700 Vandegrift Blvd, Oceanside, CA 92055

  • 3 man Race to 2 Format

  • This event is free

What you get:

  • All Equipment and Paint needed to play
  • 1st through 3rd Prizes, Trophies or medals

Register

Format

  • 3 vs. 3
  • Race to 2 – (First Team to score 2 points wins the Match)
  • 4 Minute Matches – (Total time to win the Match by scoring 2 points)
  • Minimum of 3 Matches per team
  • Prelim winners advance to a Semi-Final round
  • Semi-Final winners advance to a Final Round
  • PSP Scoring
    • Point Score
      • A team scores one point each time any active player touches the point flag to the opposing teams starting station.
      • First team to score 2 points wins the Match.
    • Round Score
      • A team scores 2 match points for each match won.
      • A team scores 1 match points for each match tied.
      • A team scores 0 match points for each match lost.

JT SplatMaster

  • No previous paintball tournament experience
  • 4 players max per team roster
  • Age Groups
    • <10
    • 11-12
    • Family – (1 Adult & 2 - <16)
  • Equipment – Must use provided event equipment to participate

    • Quick Load Tube
    • JT SplatMaster Versus Vest
  • Paint Consumption
    • 30 balls per player per match
  • Simple Rules –
    • 4 minute matches
    • If a player is hit directly by a ball that player is eliminated
    • If a ball breaks on the bunker and sprays on the player that player is not eliminated
    • No foul language
    • No Alcohol
    • No physical contact

    • 100 balls per player per match
  • Simple Rules –
    • 4 minute matches

Coaching

  • Coaches must coach from their designated box only.
  • No coaching once their player crosses 50 yard line
  • No counter coaching
  • Offensive/foul language not tolerated.

  • Matches judged by experienced Referees
